Working alongside our partners at MSE group J-Tech were contracted to deliver the fire and security package on this prestigious project. This included linking into the existing systems and connecting the CCTV feeds back to the central reception. We also installed a SIP based Access and Entry system from Paxton as well as full L2 compliant fire alarm and refuge system. The large central atrium presented a challenge in terms of smoke detection as the space was too high for standard detection. This was overcome by installing Wagner aspirating detection. The system was interfaced with the high level glazing to ensure these automatically opened in fire. All works were completed within programme, in time for the hugely popular summer season.
